My story

I don’t really know how I came to be wandering the streets, but one day after days and days of waiting for somebody to stop and pick me up, a car finally stopped. I instantly went over to the person who got out, hoping he would help me. I got lots of cuddles and strokes and wasn’t at all afraid. I was hungry and looking for food, but he didn’t seem to have any. I was picked up and put in the car and driven to a place with lots of other dogs and a huge field to play in. Well, I wasn’t too sure of all the other dogs as they were quite nosy when I arrived and there’s only so much interest a dog can take in one go! The big ones were very gentle, but the little one was quite yappy – I sensed a hint of jealousy, perhaps? A big, black dog wasn’t too sure about me and chased me around the garden a few times until he was sure I wasn’t a threat. I later learned this was Happy, the eldest of them all. Surrounded by chicks and just one other (small) male, aka mini Mikkey, I could see why he initially felt he had to protect his flock. A few hours later, however, I was running around with mini Mikkey and getting fed more nice biscuits. I was starving. I couldn’t remember the last time I had something decent to eat, or drink.

Life today

I get on with everyone like a house on fire! I don’t bother anybody and nobody bothers me. I’m surrounded by big woolly creatures as well as slinky Peanut and Pepper who look like hairless dogs! Not to mention a fluffy thing called Ferris, which apparently is a cat but likes to think he’s a dog.

My future

Growing up and enjoying life with regular meals on tap is the order of the day. I have so many friends to play with, I don’t know where to start!

Stats

I have lots of things to look forward to apparently. Something called neutering, microchipping, vaccinating and a visit to something called a vet. Wonder if there will be lots of nice biscuits there too.

Star Qualities

I’m cute and I look like a wolf.

Habits

Jumping up at my staff/owners and making their clothes all dirty.
